It’s really hard knowing many very talented people. Sometimes it causes problems. Like this weekend–which is guaranteed to be SHAMful and at times depending on Jim Beam levels–shameful. It begins of course tonight with Happy Birthday while the Lunchbox Theory Shamily and DJ UNDERDOG hold court across the street at Afrobeat for Ya Soul.
Friday features Ra Ra Rasuptin–shotouts to the homi ColonelKSpeaks–celebrating their 5th year anniversary–when’s the last time you did anything for five years?, with DC’s own Miyazaki and Misun, the latter being a group which includes in it’s distinguished membership Nacey whom you might remember from here.
Which brings us Saturday–Starks and Nacey at Zeba for “Party”. So as you can see it’s the circle of sham. Or 6 degrees of shammeration. Either way Sunday is bedrest. Let the shamming & shaming begin.
