SHAM Featured | Above the Bike Shop in Washington Post Style Section

DSC1506-copy-M

For some time my good friend Micah Greenberg has been using his loft space — often called “Above the Bike Shop” — as a blank canvas for artists, thinkers and doers of all stripes.  With the help of good friends such as Josef Palermo, Lisa Markuson and Deena Odelle Hyatt, Micah’s played host to dozens of events. Some of these happenings have been one-off evenings, including various musical performances, spoken word, and even nude drawing. Some have been recurring or “residencies,” such as Little Spoons (an all-female comedy night), DC Food Swap (an all barter farmers market), and most recently Knowledge Commons DC (an alternative, open source school).  Despite a complete lack of web presence, Eliza Krugman and the Washington Post Style section have taken notice!  Thanks so much for your support and we look forward to seeing you at Above the Bike Shop and across the city.  #SHAM!
