A not unusual (but hardly ever mentioned) comorbid prognosis related to ADHD is body-focused repetitive habits (BFRB), with symptoms starting from nail biting to hair pulling to cheek biting that children and adults can’t control.

These behaviors are steadily persistent, and folks with BFRBs file feeling pleasure and/or pain from these behavior.
